    Default Tree Cutting Regulations

Anybody know about tree cutting regulations that
were supposed to have ended on January 1st?

Last I heard, a (Akld ?) Council was challenging the change in environment court.
We can't have homeowners taking responsibilty for their own trees now can we !!!!!!
Or is it more that the council will lose revenue from not having to send out its arborists (or should that be arbitraryists)
Hopefully someone can point us in the right direction of the legislation/ challenge.

    This may help

This one says to me that nothing has changed

ie you can still only prune back by 20% per year
anything more or if it is a scheduled tree, you need resource consent !!!!
