Ha ha classic. Now I'm wondering if he actually said it was from the Bible, or whether I just assumed that.

There is something about charging interest though I'm sure, in the real bible that is, not the Shakespeare one...

"And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves."

Usury (as interest is called in the Boys' Own Book of Beliefs)
is subject to, ahhhh, 'situational ethics.' It's OK to screw the
gentiles for interest, but not 'fellow' Israelites or proselytes.

Where is christianity heading anyway? The traditional churches seem to be shrinking while the happy-clappy ones are becoming more popular. Destiny church seems to have slipped from the headlines. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing!

$20 a week fees out of the $50 p.w savings? So you recieve no interest and you pay them for the privilege of holding your money?

And you have to buy a house through them? Are they acting as agents? What does the REAA have to say?

The man said he contacted Noah's Ark after hearing an advertisement on Radio Samoa in which the company was described as helping low-income people to buy homes.
It's always the poor old Pacific Islanders who seem to be the targets of these sorts of scams.

Oh come on... everyone knows that the earth is only 6000 years old and that God buried the bones about the time Adam was created. It says so here in this very credible explanation. It's on the internet so it must be true.
