The July Beginner Investors' Group features APIA President, successful investor and property mentor, David Whitburn. David will speak on Strategies for Wealth in Today's Market, and analyse the Labour Party's Capital Gains Tax policy and how investors will potentially be affected.

The market is warming up slowly but surely at present, and having the right investment strategy is absolutely critical. David will discuss strategies like buy and hold, property trading and their various subsets including home and income properties, renovations, development, blocks of flats, boarding houses, minor dwellings, sleepouts and many more to show you how to invest and prosper with property. It is important to begin with the end in mind, and CGT could have a bearing on the strategies that you choose. With the Labour Party's recent announcement of introducing a CGT into its tax policy, it is time for property investors to understand what it is and how you will be affected. David will give an overview of what CGT is, how it will be levied, and what will happen to property investors and their tenants.

David also has a special offer for all attendees to hear him and the EMA speak at the NZ Wealth Mentor Quarterly Market Update next Tuesday 2 August 7 - 9pm for free at L1, 371 Khyber Pass Road, Newmarket. If you are serious about your investing and want to know how you can potentially be affected we strongly recommend attending this meeting to hear our President, David Whitburn.

Thank you for those who attended the meeting last night. Due to popular demand, we will be putting a similar presentation on at our Central Auckland group on the 15th of September. A meeting notification will be sent out closer to the date.
