Hi all.
Just wondering on what your preferences are when putting in a new oven in a rental property? Free standing ovens vs built in ect. Elements style such as your hobs verse ceramic top.
Also when purchasing would you buy brand new (roughly $1000 for a westinghouse Neptune), or would you go second hand for only $500 and take the risk that something may happen within a year and you'll have to replace anyway - there are a few on trademe for around the $400-500 in the Waikato in what looks like pretty good condition - but you never know.
Finally if putting in a free standing oven, are the electrical plugs on each side of the oven a must. (e.g. Westinghouse Neptune has them ($960 new) vs Westinghouse Mercury ($860 new). In the kitchen there are only currently power plugs at one, not the end where the oven will go.
I'm thinking Noel Leaming to buy from... seem this 20% off weekend is best deal I can find so far. Still have a couple of weeks till I need it though. http://www.noelleeming.co.nz/shop/ki...prod43371.html
Any previous experience or thoughts would be much appreciated.
Right... time to go to my boxing match tonight (Have you see my opponent... first round KO!)
Cheers
