Yes a small Mitre 10 should have the "cheat sheet" too.
Just be aware that it will NOT be the same colour as Resene. It will be close but in some lighting conditions it is quite likely to be obviously different.
I wanted some paint to match one of my interior walls that was painted 10 years ago. It was some green-ish beige, but actual colour unknown as it was obscured on the paint tin. I brushed some of the old leftover paint onto a piece of cardboard and took it in to Mitre 10 so I could try to colour match it.
The paint guy actually took the sample and ran it through some colour analyser and managed to extract the colour mix, and make up a new tin for me, using a different brancd of paint. A perfect match. I was impressed.
... but we've tried the same thing and got a match that looked perfect on a horizontal surface and dreadful on a vertical one. Most of ours was vertical.
I was in mitre 10 recently and they had the colour mixes for all brands.
The reason you may get a slight difference though is the formulations are for that particular manufacturers base and bases do vary and this will affect the final colour but would only be of concern if you were matching one wall with another.
