    First time poster.

    Quick question, people often talk about their gross returns here. What is sensible to expect for a net rental return in Onehunga?

    What is sensible to expect for a net rental return in Onehunga?
    it is depend what are you buying / considering?

    is it 3-4Bedroom house or Multiple income property?

    to be honest most 3 Bedroom house in Onehunga will be probably returning around 5% Gross OR 3.5% NET yield.

    If you are buying a 3 Bedroom house on full section for around 400k + which would rent for $450pw would give the numbers as above.

    But if you buy the Bargain of the century then the Yields will grow.

    In terms of Multiple income properties it is relatively essay to find 7% GROSS yields if you know how to look. this would be around 5.5% NET.
