    Kicking off the first Beginner Investors' Group meeting for 2010 will be Phil Hinton of KCL Property, one of the new NZPIF national sponsors.

    Phil will cover how interest rates are part of the property market and what influences they have on investment.

    Phil will also talk about:

    * How debt helps you;
    * How debt works against you;
    * Why you need to consider floating vs fixed interest rates;
    * What is gearing;
    * What do personal guarantees really mean;
    * Different property types' ability to carry debt; and
    * A range of other important factors.

    Phil Hinton is an Executive Director of KCL Property, a company that specialises in direct commercial property investment, commercial property development and a full range of management functions including lease, facilities and financial management of its properties.
