Chattels! - Best deals/interest-free terms?

Earlier today I popped into Dick Smith to find out they were offering 3 years interest-free with no deposit on items over $999.

The property investor inside me thought about buying a flat screen TV, installing it as a chattel for a tenant to improve rent and claiming depreciation which would make the TV almost free by Year 4. Alas, the deal ends tomorrow.

Anyone else spotted long term interest-free loans?

many retailers offer deffer payment etc.

you best ask your tenants first if they need a washing machine or dishwasher etc and if they would be happy to pay extra $ for it.

in todays jobs market and unemployment levels some could say no thanks.(my did)
