Default Christchurch catch up with guest speaker Matthew Gilligan - Tuesday 20th October

    Hi Team,

I am pleased to announce that I have secured the services of one of New Zealand's top speakers relating to property structures and asset planning. Not only is Matthew Gilligan an avid property investor himself, he is a Chartered Accountant and heads up the team at Gilligan Rowe and Associates.

Matthew has agreed to talk about a range of subjects including tax and asset structures, asset planning, family and trading trusts, and he is keen to share with us the latest information on the associated persons ruling. Matthew has kindly offered a question and answer session at the end of his engagement, so come prepared with your questions.

Please read a snippet on Matthew.

Matthew Gilligan of Gilligan Rowe and Associates

    Matthew Gilligan CA
Matthew is a Chartered Accountant and has been practising since 1992. Since GRA's inception, the company has grown exponentially in staff and services offered.
His division specialises in an asset planning process which involves designing asset ownership structures to deal with protecting assets, estate planning and tax minimization goals collectively.
Matthew has been involved in asset planning and property market for over 16 years.
Matthew is a well known speaker on asset planning and property matters. He presents annually at Thrive Auckland and Thrive Waikato. He also speaks to various Property Investor Association groups, Chambers of Commerce, Retailers Associations, Builders Association amongst other groups in society.

I would like to get the evening (20th October) underway at the Speights Ale House on Bealy Ave at 6.45pm with orders for meals starting at 7pm, this will allow plenty of time for Matthew's talk and provide further time for your questions.

In order to gauge numbers of attendees can you please reply with names and approximate numbers, it does not matter if you do not want to have dinner (please make note if you do not want dinner) but be sure to book as I would like to make certain there is room for all those wishing to attend.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Nice one team - keep the names coming. I will start a list to confirm numbers once a few more of you hold up your hands.

Matthew warms to a Christchurch crowd so make sure you do not miss this opportunity to hear him talk as I'm sure you will find him both entertaining and informative.
