    Depends on the council.

    For example, Waitakere GVs are available at http://www.waitakere.govt.nz/CnlSer/...ineSearch.aspx

    North shore city council has a great GIS viewer which includes GV:

    I think auckland city council also gives out the detail.

    Based on this and Cubes, best to search the local council of the area you are looking.

    Try this link: http://web.hcc.govt.nz/jsplive/rates...val_impact.jsp

    Note: it depends on what you need as my experience with QV is how false they really are. When we were in the middle of purchasing our apartment in the Auckland Central City area, I went onto the QV website to see what this unit (1 of 220 in a multi-storey development) valuation actually was but go a message that without 3 months sales in the neighbourhood they couldn't give any valuation. You can imagine my reaction when the Bank, not the useless lawyer, secured the mortgage with a QV valuation nearly 3 years old. To me QV is one of the biggest parties to blame for all Blue Chip and others that have been caught up in making such a mess of the average - lower investor thus lowering such investments. If control was enforced on QV to be realistic along with some real regulation of Body-Corp management then these apartments could become a truly beneficial investment.

    I thought most PTrs knew it, by now.
    QV = Questionable Valuation
