Joking aside, I think the auction did far more harm than good.
Firstly the lasting impression the public got was that it was a colossal failure.
Secondly there is the stench of things not being straight up and down when it was revealed that Don Ha was the owner of much of what was offered.
Eventually more of the offerings may sell, but too late. The damage has already been done.
You have to wonder. Is Don Ha under pressure from his lenders?
