While whining about Badger's predictability in another thread, a sadly possible and already seen scenario dawned upon me.
What if the Nats win (almost certain now) and many jobs are lost (not of their fault) shortly afterwards (quite likely)?
They'll prolly be tempted to slash the dole payments to help balance the sheets and punish the lazy while still pursuing the promised tax cuts.
But that'd be kinda ironic, often cutting off the only reliable source of income to many who have just voted them in.
Just like the 1991 dole cuts, except perhaps on a grander scale.
Not entirely impossible eh?
