  • What is the best most active Forum ???

    Hello there all you property magnates ,

    Could someone advise me on what is the best / most active forum to post queries and have people reply to you ?

    I have tried Richmastery and Landlords, and have just seen this one.

    The forum a bit more active than the other 2 ??????????

    I know most people answering could be biased since they are on here in the first place.

    But as new member to APIA and their forum links here, I have quite a lot of questions and reading up to do.

    Even though we do not advertise it as so you are in the Premier Leading Largest New Zealand and soon to be world Property Forum.

    Now enough with the introductions fire away with something meaningfull.

      The 2 most active property forums in this end of the world are:

      OZ= Somersoft
      NZ= Propertytalk

      There is so much info and experienced users here.

      Take this thread for example

      or even the New Wiki which is currently underway

      Start reading and posting everyone is here to help.

      PS
      No need to rush into Investment property anymore. The market is now going through it's traditional slow down cycle and you have time to relax and learn.

            Thanks Whitt

            Yes I am biding my time reading learning and setting up structures.

            Expecting another 3 to 4 months before the bottom of the market is reached, then slow for another 2 years.

            So am thinking of doing a couple of minor renovations to see how I go.
            I know its better to do them in a rising market, but have to start sometime.

              The question you just posted belongs in the Finance, legal and tax (NZ) forum, it is better to have it in its own post as well as it will get lost here. I recommend you repost it, or maybe one of the moderators will set it up for you.

              From my understanding once you get involved with Trading Trusts the LAQC becomes an inefficient way to manage buy and holds and a Buy & Hold Trust needs to be utilised for maximum protection and differentiation of activities against tainting.

              Good Luck.
