      Nelson meeting

      hi Carex,

There are 2 others who are keen, we are looking at Thursday this week, or Wednesday next week.

I'm just waiting to hear back.

Do you have a preference? Day? Time? Type of beverage etc

<puts hand up> I'm there with bells on - Could I suggest the Richmond side of town if not too much trouble for everyone else??

The Nelson PIA meeting is Thursday night isn't it? (Just trying to plan my day...)

          Rustica - I'm one of those 2!

Rueben - yes NPIA is this Thurs.

I suggested Wed 19th in the evening and Richmond would suit me too.
          Whatever it takes ...

Sounds good to me, I'll be there.

I haven't seen Glenn wearing a skirt before, that will be fun.

                        Cats

Rustica's cat looks like a Chocolate Burmese. I've got a 17 year old one of these. It is the most arrogant, opinionated, high-browed animal (homo sapiens included) that I have ever met. I'm sure that he regards me as nothing more than a piece of excrement who happens to give him food when he requires it. In other words, this cat scorns me every day, and yet I run around after this feline as if he was my old boss at work.

Rustica: What is the average lifespan for a Chocolate Burmese?

                          Cats

'Clicquot' is an Abyssinian, named after Verve champagne.

Most expensive cat around, had a 1500$ pin in her leg at 6 week's she jumped off a bench and broke it, while I was away. My husband's friend said, 'get another one, it would be cheaper '-

We love her though, she travelled in the hold of an Air NZ plane from Auckland and now resides in Nelson with us Our 21 month old chases her round the house all day.

                          Life span? 9 lives?

Thanks, Rustica. My deal with the cat is that I will look after him right until the end, but that I will not pay for expensive surgery. I put this to the cat, and he just curled his lip. He thinks, and I know this, that he will survive me.

How can any human be so fond of an animal that holds that same human in such complete contempt?

                              Don't you know:

                              Dogs have owners
                              Cats have staff
                              Whatever it takes ...
