    Oh come on, xris is right with that one surely - it's one thread he/she is talking about, and he/she is talking about the title OF the thread, so the correct punctuation WAS 'my thread's title'. SUREly?

    Can't believe I'm sticking up for xris again.....

    I can't come up with anything, Glen. Even if you're referring to what your call your collection of pants, you still have to have an apostrophe, somewhere.

    Which in this case would be after the s (i.e. pants'), but it's common to drop the apostrophe at the end of the word (it's actually still there, but not written), as it's not referring to a missing letter, rather than referring to ownership.
