    Of all the comments, George Best's is best.
    (A PTalker uses the quote as a signature
    by-line: can't recall who.)

    Soccer star George Best went bankrupt in 1982.
    How’d he lose his money? “I spent a lot of money
    on booze, birds, and fast cars.
    The rest I just squandered.”
    At, least he could tell the difference between
    squandrous items and, ahhh, other goals.

      Ridiculous...

      This needs to be mentioned more times in this article...

      Real wealth isn’t about earning money — it’s about keeping money.

      Apparently these people are not aware of our current economy...time to save, not spend. I came across this article on a financial social network I'm a member at...the ridiculous rich need to read this...

        Let's say a giant asteroid was headed toward Earth right now and experts say it has a good chance of ending civilization as we know it. Let's also say that we've known about this asteroid for years but even as it gets closer and closer our leaders do nothing.

          That last remark was telling, wasn't it?

          I'm willing to do the right thing for our future;
          I'm willing to sacrifice, but not when I believe
          that our leaders will do nothing but make the
          [imminent] $US53 trillion [disaster] even larger.
          Is that the 'right' attitude, I wonder?
