Hi all,
I am new to the forum and I have a burning question. I found out about International Mortgage from an offshore bank Lloyds TSB that can provide mortgages for property in NZ. I am thinking of perhaps asking someone in my home country (singapore) to purchase a house here in NZ and then sub-let it to me and I pay furnish the mortgage payments in the home country currency (and interest rate).
Is that legal in NZ? and also in Singapore? What about tax issues?
Thanks
