Thu 17 May: Wellington pizza, beer, number crunching, and general chatter event
Well - the tenant flew the coop (literally - Tribunal case) so we have to go to Rotorua to sort it out. Sorry but we (Snookie, Grandma, Pete) won't be there after all.
Look forward to reading about how it went when we get back. Have fun.

Hi there,
Is it still possible to add my name to the list for Thursday night.
I'm a newbie like Conduit, but very keen to learn from you all
Many thanks

Hi all, its a shame so many are pulling out and it makes me shamed to be joining them too. In my eagerness to join the fun I did not check my diary...double booked. I'll keep my eye out for the next one (and check my calendar next time). Thanks for the warm welcome anyway.
Nah just kidding. I've been in that situations plenty of time. By my count we still have at leas 12 people coming (that I know of).
I'm not going to be onlne tomorrow so will plan to meet all those who can make it at Steve's work for a 6.30 start.
Reconfiming the plan:
6.30 meet at Steve's work (195-203 Willis street - sign outside the building for Wellington Music Academy) for some number crunching. Please go striaght up to level 3 (Richmastery), ready for a prompt start.
After that we'll agree on somewhere close by for a cheap eat and drink and continue the chatter.
It was a great night. I had never been to a number crunching event before so figured the best way would be to organise it myself. Thankfully Steve was there to provide the venue and the tools, and suggest a damn fine pizza place for dinner (mmmmm, real italian style pizza). A big thanks to Steve for all of that.
It was also great meeting and talking to everyone else. What really amazed me was how everyone had something quite different in terms of projects on the go, or deals to look at, or deals done in the past. Here on PT we talk so much and so generally about trading, and buy and hold, but when we talked in person I could suddenly see everyone had different angles on it. Very inspiring!
Speaking of inspiring was Steve's latest plan that he shared with us. I won't provide details here because it's Steve's to discuss publically or not, but that man is taking his investing to a new leavel. And I mean BIG!
It's so worth getting out and mixing it up with other investors, and I would encourage everyone who sits behind a computer on PT to do the same. I learn something new and get inspired every time. Thanks to you all!
Just wanted to say thank you to Gerrard for organising the event and to Steve for the venue thoroughly enjoyed myself as well as meeting everyone and the meal afterwards awesome.
