I've come across a property I like. However, I've found that the extension to the original building (garage and a room) is not on the title plan. However, it is reported in the LIM and has a code of compliance. It is on a crosslease title. The vendors has specified the purchase to be "as is".
1. Should this be a major concern?
2. Can I purchase and update the title myself? How much is this likely to cost?
