Biden is quick to say he believes it's not from Russia. Ukraine - hoping Russia will get the blame and NATO gets involved?

Musk will likely close the Twitter deal on Friday (Saturday)

Be interesting to see if Trump comes back , should be good for a laugh

And recently Kanye West was kicked off Twitter for attacking Jews for profiting off the predominantly black hip hop music industry

commentary on this forum and many other platforms has some very nasty attacks on the Labour government and left wing ideology

Why are we not censored? It should go both ways shouldn't it?

Free speech should be just that.

If Ukraine withdraw they face losing access to the Black Sea as Russia keeps on advancing to Odessa.

If Ukraine keep it they can cut off water to Crimea. It’s a pivotal moment in the war - will be interesting to see how it works out.

Russian defense Minister Shoigu spoke with US defense Secretary Austin today,. That's the second time in 3 days.

Most likely a negotiating a withdrawal from Kherson region.

Don't wars mean $$ - USA and Europe to rebuild Ukraine with Putin's money?

Ukraine needs to quit while they are ahead
They're not ahead in any way that I can see. Dire living conditions, economy upended, loss of territory, and people killed, tortured, and abused.

Biden administration looking at legal advice to regulate Elon Musk's proposal to buy Twitter, and his recent threat to pull Space X satalite internet from the Ukraine.

1/ Isn't that what Chinas communist party would do in similar circumstances by placing Chinese billionares under house Arrest? for voicing there opinions and making too much money?

2/ Russia wants to negotiate a deal in the Ukraine war, the Ukraine wants the war to extend further and all Ukraine to go back to pre 1991 territories.Ukraine is only winning the war with the help of the U.S munition and technology,

Why do the left democrats not see that if they do not encourage negotiations it will likely lead to world war 3

Musk sees that, I see that, why can't the Biden administration see that, a negotiation is the best outcome, the Ukraine needs to quit while they are ahead

Russia is not going to take over Europe and then the rest of the world, they couldn't even invade a country the fraction of their size in the Ukraine.

The left wing politicians are taking the world down a dark road.

At the end of that link -

Someone blew up the Nord Stream pipeline just in case another key nation, such as Germany, had any thoughts about coming to the bargaining table. And now we are playing a game of nuclear "chicken" with a Russian leader who, if his unhinged "War against the West" speech last Friday is any indication, has thrown away his steering wheel.

A regional war turned into the First World War because all parties made maximalist demands and assumed others were bluffing. It can happen again, especially if the media, social media, and foreign policy elite join forces and use woke cancellation tactics to preclude discussing any alternatives. Right now, we are locked on an escalatory path, and the destination ahead is Woke War III.
    Scary stuff!

I like the title of this:

The Neocons and the Woke Left Are Joining Hands and Leading Us to Woke War III
What matters in this story is not that Musk was told off, but rather, that a Twitter hive mind is using the same intolerant cancellation tactics that they use to shut down debate on domestic political issues in order to shape U.S. policy toward Ukraine. They are doing so by demonizing dissent, defaming opponents, and closing off as ideologically unacceptable any path to peace or even deescalation.

With all due respect I'm not buying into your theory -

Some areas will be overpopulated - some will see population growth decline - the outcome is the same - a threat to human survival.

Climate change is one of humanity’s most critical challenges. The warming of the planet threatens food security, freshwater supply, and human health. While the link between human action and the planet’s recent warming remains an almost unanimous scientific consensus, the links between population growth and climate change deserve further exploration.

it is a crisis! to say anything else is misleading

    yes I have read it
while the article refutes the claim it also acknowledges that a healthy population needs a healthy ferliity rate and suggests incentives to ensure this. On the basis that these are present then perhaps there would be no crisis but the incentives are not there. Hence our aging population. Where the productive cares and providers for the future?

    Your article holds up France as a model but a simple google says;
The current fertility rate for France in 2022 is 1.849 births per woman, a 0.05% decline from 2021. The fertility rate for France in 2021 was 1.850 births per woman, a 0% increase from 2020. The fertility rate for France in 2020 was 1.850 births per woman, a 0.05% decline from 2019.

If there population is increasing it is because of immigration and that is causing its own social problems. So where is the "false truth"?

What is out governments answer?? The most permissive abortion laws in the world and euthanasia to solve the problem. Incentives?? go figure.

    we reap what we sow

Climate change and population are unrelated but man made climate change is being used as a propaganda tool by the depopulators.
