  • Tour around North Island, Is bus enough?

    Dear All,

In mid November, I will fly from Sydney to Auckland, and tour around North Island small town to find my IP. I think if I rent a car and drive around, that would be very tired by the time I get to the town. Does anybody have the experience to tour around just by bus?

    Thank you

    Hi CL

    Welcome to Propertytalk.

New Zealand is not like Australia where there are vast distances between towns and cities.

Most towns in New Zealand are generally very close together. This means that you should only need up to 30 mins travelling time between towns.

Therefore I suggest that you hire a car to travel around in.

You are not dictated to by bus timetables and can move about the country when you are ready to.

    Regards

      Thanks, Muppet.

Looks like I need to find out the car hire company info then.
