    Help - Tech Support

Last year, I upgraded from Boyfriend to Husband and noticed a distinct
slowdown in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and
jewellery applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend.

In addition, and without any user input, Husband uninstalled many
other valuable programs, such as Romance and Personal Attention. It
then installed undesirable programs such as Rugby, Football, Sailing
and Continuous TV. The Conversation app no longer runs, and attempting
to start Housecleaning simply crashes the system. I've tried running
Nag.sys to fix these problems, but to no avail.

    What can I do?

    Signed, Desperate

    ------------------------------------------

    Dear Desperate,

First, please keep in mind, Boyfriend is an Entertainment add-on (not
an OS), while Husband is a true Operating System. Please enter the
command: 'http: I Thought You Loved Me.html' and try to download
    the Tears app.

Don't forget to install the Guilt update. If that application works as
designed, Husband should then automatically re-start the applications
Jewellery and Flowers. However, remember that overuse of the above
application can cause Husband to default to any or all of the
following apps: Grumpy Silence, Garden Shed or Beer. Beer is a very
bad app that will - as an unauthorised plug-in - automatically
download and install the Snoring Loudly beta version.

Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-law. It runs like a virus
and will eventually seize control of all your system resources. Also,
do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend program over the top of
Husband. It is an unsupported update under the Husband OS and
will cause it to lock up your system or crash it.

In summary, Husband is a great OS, but it does have limited memory
addressing capabilities and cannot invoke new applications quickly. It
also tends to work better running only one task at a time. You might
consider buying additional software to improve its memory and
performance. We recommend the Food and Hot Lingerie apps.

    Good Luck,
