No - opens up to a blank tab.

OK - I can't keep tabs on all this techno-babble.

The picture is actually stored on the PT server.
Here is the code for the picture link:

If that link shows up as a hyperlink (clickable)
in whatever browser you're using, clicking it
should result in you seeing the graphic as
a standalone pic, outside of any familiar
                PT Forum surroundings.

It does display correctly, in the post, within the
PT Forum context, in all three browsers I tested:
                Opera, Firefox and IE.

I've exhausted the few grains of technical knowledge
that I have. I'm at a total loss to understand why the
picture is not displaying for others. Hang on . . .

Muppet says he can see it. Back in a mo' . . . .

Right. The place where it was stored on the PT server
was marked 'Private - can be seen only by contacts &
Mods.' I've changed it to 'public.'

Can y'all see it now? If so . . .

Maybe I can be an apprentice nerd, after all?

Belay that. I now realise why the album was private
and I've changed it back to private. However, I've
changed the link to an off-site server, so the pic will
                            be visible. (I hope!)

Sorry to muck things up, so.
