American dogs won't have to miss out on icy treats this summer, following the launch of Dogsters ice-cream, reports the Winnipeg Sun. Available in chocolate and vanilla flavours, it's low in sugar and carbohydrates, and the company that makes it claims it's better for dogs than normal ice-cream. "High-carb, high-sugar is not good for any being" says Michael Serruya, co-chairman of Coolbrands International. But some people are concerned that the dairy content could upset a pooch's stomach.

Two years ago, Frank Morosky developed charcoal-lined underwear that reduces the odour of flatulence. But when a customer asked whether he could adapt the design to fit a dog, Morosky realised he could be onto a winner, reports Assoc. Press. Launching this month are two types of doggie diaper - a thong that sells for around $28, and a $70 denim version with a detachable charcoal pad.
My dog would prefer the thong....haha
