    Natonal party a viper pit?

Nothing like politics to get the blood boiling.

It's said that you should judge a person by what they do, not by what they say.

I'm neither a fan or hater of Simon, but..

I just makes the National party look really bad, when power struggles are resolved by tricks rather than genuine market forces.

It makes you think they have no respect for natural fairness.

And that sort of attitude is not compatible with the KIWI character.

The writing was on the wall for Judith and she went out - standing on principle. What's remembered is she was pushed due to standing up for women's rights and treatment by the 'boys club' - rather than her lack of interest in doing the job.

Fingers crossed Bridges doesn't get back in - that would be a disaster. National needs 'new' - Chris Bishop would be good. Chris Luxon needs to get a high profile role in the shadow cabinet and build on it.

    cheers,

    Donna

Her timing was a bit suspect, don't you think?

That's the problem, she had a much more likely motive.

All the National Party have done is raise taxes and break their promises.
Labour are even worse. But at least Labour force rents and house prices sky high.
The three most harmful addictions are heroin, carbohydrates and a monthly salary - Fred Wilson.

I thought inflation in the housing sector was a global trend?
How can it be down to our government, if its happening in places our government has no jurisdiction?

The central banks by contrast, have been acting in unison globally, all dumping money in the form of debt into the system.
Our central bank blindly following those trends.

But I do agree with you, a small country like ours does have the ability and agility to buck global trends.
And the leadership is the only place that sort of coordinated response can come from.
