Is this happening in your area?

Or is it just you Jaffas up to this sort of caper?

    Evil sods!

I hope the tenants concerned are lodging TT Kangaroo Kourt applications!

What this article shows is how important landlords are to renters. The vast majority can't afford to own a home so are lucky landlords are there to provide an essential service.

    Landlords might become local heros.

Except for the fact that in the reality of this country, there are so many subsidies which have been in place for so long, many people do it even realise they are being subsidised by another party..

And with this government in place determined to seek and destroy anyone with the ability to create a decent personal net worth, and use the proceeds of the plunder to fund state housing for not only the needy, but the un-needy, unthankful, unexpected, and unwanted things are not going to improve any time soon.

And of course, more poverty only creates more votes when the inevitable promises from the Labour Party come stating they will save us all from our evil ways, Aucklanders or not...

Have you considered the health impacts of passive aggression?

Despite the implied mocking, I have oft wondered what would happened to the self-appointed champions of the downtrodden if prosperity levels rose to a point that negated the reason for being for Labour, the Iwi elite, the Greens, et al.

Would they say: we need to disband, because we've achieved what we wanted? Or would holding their positions become more important to them than accepting that their success was also their denouement?
