The tragedy of Software Upgrades

Hi all

I think I can say that there are not many people in this world who work with a computer that have not at some point experienced the share frustration of a software upgrade/fixpack gone wrong.

In the 15 years that I have been working with computers I have experience almost gut wrenching feelings of lost when a software upgrade has caused lost of data or worst complete computer failure.

I would like to share with you all my latest experience of an upgrade gone wrong.

I rather think you mean "sheer" frustration, but I certainly know the feeling. I keep getting a reminder about SP3, but so far am ignoring it.
