    Ok its a good way to explain it though...you think its condescending, however it has explained it simply.

    It would be more meaningful if it were true.

    They could have managed their risks better BEFORE the crash, surely. It bugs me that they lend the big boys huge money (e.g. Westpac NZ lent 2 people $165million which has gone bad, and there are many other examples). Some of the banks seem to take HUGE risks with a few developers, then the mum and dads have to suffer by tightened policies because of their risk.
