What does North Shore, Porirua and Manukau have in common?

They are the most expensive areas to rent?

What’s up with Porirua? The shopping is good - and it’s 15 mins from Kapiti so why even bother renting there!

Porirua has lots of low income tenants that qualify for accomodation supplements and WFF for lots of kids I imagine so they can afford to pay high rents?

Agree. There are new homes etc too that will be FHB and homeowners and rentals in Porirua. Porirua includes Whitby, Plimmerton. Plus there’s big new developments along Transmission Gully planned. So maybe not all low income but def. WFF tenants.
