Hi All,
We recently decided to replace a Goldair heater in bathroom of a rental. It was quite old - (we'd never replaced it - so it was at least 10 years old). The tenants said it smelt when they used it - (probably just needed a good clean). But we didn't want to take the risk - it had a plastic cover - looked like a disaster waiting to happen so I replaced it with one we had and used in our house before we had it rebuilt. A Weiss (NZ brand and made) - glad I did it.
See this on a brand of heater that has cause many fires in homes.... might be time to check all your bathrooms's heaters.
regards,
Donna
