My strategy involves uniting parents to jointly acquire or construct a property aimed at supporting their children during university, specifically in the Christchurch area. Given the diverse financial situations of individual parents, there are likely various possibilities to explore. Personally, I am retired, relying on NZ super with a modest savings pool, and I own a debt-free property with a government valuation of 1.3 million.
