Can the whole Christchurch feel minor earthquakes sometimes?Is TC1 zone safe?

I appreciate it if someone giving the advice: Can the whole Christchurch feel minor earthquakes sometimes, or only certain suburbs can feel that? Will it be safe from earthquake if live in TC1 zone? Does minor earthquake dangerous or don't need to worry about it? Thanks.:-)

Nowhere is 100% safe and minor earthquakes happen in NZ all the time. Christchurch (Chch) is NZs 2nd largest city and it’s doing good a good vibe.

Properties haven’t dropped in value as much as they have in AKL and WGN.
