I have a tenant that has a small chest freezer infront of and below the current switchboard. They want to replace the chest freezer with an upright fridge freezer. This would then cover access to the switch board. The fridge is on castors so can easily be moved. However I am unsure if this is allowed or if it is dangerous?

If there is a fire and you need to switch off the electricity this would be a problem. Clear access is a must and a reason switch boards are high on the wall.
