Thinking of buying my first home in Carterton. Currently working in Wellington City, the commute from Carterton by train is around 1hr 20 mins. 3 bed I'm looking at is around $310,000 (most I can borrow). Any thoughts on future capital gains in this area? Planning to live in it for the next 5 years before selling and hopefully make some gains and settle in Greytown. Any advice would be much appreciated.
