  • Adding additional conditions to existing tenancy agreement

Hi guys, looking for advice here please. We recently purchased a property with tenants in place. We wish to amend the agreement to exclude pets, and possibly increase the bond from the current 2 weeks, to four weeks. The tenancy website appears to indicate this is allowed, but is silent on what (if any) notice period is required. Any help greatly appreciated. SALTY

Nope. You can do nothing. You must accept the exisiting conditions.

Wait for current term to expire.

If you can agree with the tenants on the additional conditions, I believe you can terminate the existing agreement (by mutual agreement) and sign a new one.
