  • Listings with resource consent for MDU's - how much does that add?

    Hi everyone,
    I've noticed a few listings of properties that have resource consent for minor dwellings.
    Is there a standard amount that accounts for the added value of the consent?
    i.e. Does the consent add 15k to the asking price?

    Thanks for your advice.

    Assuming actual consent done which means topo, plans, surveying and build quote included it is anywhere between 7 and 15K.

        7-15K is the actual cost of getting the consent.
        It could add 10s of thousands to the asking price if the opportunity exists to create a high yielding property.

          True in theory but debatable really. People looking for MDU's know what it costs usuallly.

            Thanks guys, also what would the cost of a building consent normally be? about the same again?
