Do you need consent or to notify the Council to add walls to create a new bedroom?
Hi everyone
We're looking at a house where the vendors have added 2 internal walls to create an additional bedroom. Just double checking if this requires a consent and what to watch out for?
I've had a read of the Building Performance website and Auckland Council website (property is in Auckland) and it seems like they didn't need a consent. But I'm pretty new to this so just wanting to double check
. Is there something on the LIM etc that I should watch out for?
