  • Decromastic Roof - Refurbishment Christchurch

    Hi All,

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good company that provides this service?

Anyone had one done and view it a success and value for money?

    Thanks in advance.

Mate I stuffed around with a decromastic roof on a house I had for a while. Repairs and a bit of refurb. If I had to go through it again I would just get it re-roofed in coloursteel. For the money those decromastic guys charge I rekon you'd get a better deal and a near new roof if you bought a houselot of recycled tin from those new-ish houses in bexley that all got demolished. Probably still plenty of it in demo yards.

My brother, until recently, ran a company that specialised in roof painting and he told me that you didn't have to refurbish decro roofs - you can just paint them. I will be doing this with mine, when I get around to it. Apparently the chip was originally intended as a form of insulation and is not necessary for the integrity of the roof panels. Pity I can't get him to do it, but we live in different islands.
