As I mentioned I am in the process of buying a relocatable house (new). I was told that all council inspections were completed and passed. (Lockup stage)
But I'm worried about the lack of paperwork provided by the builder, I have only 2 inspection reports by council, one for foundation and the other for preline. Nothing about wrap, cladding, roof or windows. No "memorandum from licensed building practitioner" of which I suspect there should be many.
On the last inspection it says "next inspection: direct fixing post wrap" whatever that means?
I've sent an email to council but their response may be incomplete / wrong / late
Also, looking at the "specifications" book, it states gib. So does that mean I can't use prorock or similar (assuming branz approved)?
Must gib be installed by a builder? I'm hoping to do 99% of the fitting out myself.
