  • Bathroom with concrete block internal lining

Am looking at a 1970s concrete block unit that needs a new bathroom. Can the new fittings be plumbed into the block internal linings as is, or are there new requirements that the internal linings need to be changed and or sealed in some way. I want to allow for these additional costs when making an offer.
    Same applies to kitchen.

Suggest you allow to pack the blocks with timber to make a space to fit the pipes and wires in the bathroom and line over the timber. The kitchen may or may not need this as many kitchen cabinets are made with false backs and services can be concealed there
