Cash Jobs - 7000 reported via anonymous emails

While there is still physical cash - cash jobs will be hard to crack down on. Maybe this is why digital currencies will be the future.

7000 report tradies doing cash jobs. Who would be doing that? Competitors, haters, neighbours-at-war etc.

Even more interesting in the news item is 40,000 in construction fail to pay their tax on time. And reading between the lines IRD may send auditor your way if you fail to pay or ask for help etc...

    cheers

    Donna

IRD said that, each year, it receives nearly 7000 anonymous tip offs about cash jobs across all sectors – but construction is the biggest culprit.

Given how few read / watch / listen and trust the lyin', legacy NZ media, I'd take it all with a Siberian mine of salt.

I suspect that the IRD has an eye to the 80:20 rule.

Cash is King, and if we dont use it you will lose it forever along with your freedom.

Think about it, "They" cant track cash, or control cash transactions this is why they hate it and are quietly closing down banks and ATMs

The majority of people have no idea, and think they are clever using cashless banking and this is the future.

When there is no cash what happens when coms go down for days, weeks, months, cyberscams emptying bank accounts is rife and massive technical breakdowns happen where all records are lost and bank accounts emptied..

You are laughing and dont think this will happen do you....

Cash jobs for tradies is as old as ever. I have seen huge amounts handed over between tradies and customers, no worries mate, see you at the pub tonight..

Bartering isn’t illegal - so this may replace cash jobs. Good at a local level. Where there’s a will there’s a way.

          cheers
