  • How difficult is it to amend a 'typo' in a crosslease agreement?

    Hi,

Looking at buying a house, and somehow the crosslease agreement has muddled the words around in some of the paragraphs - saying Lot A where it should be Lot B etc. The vendor is trying to fix it quickly but may not happen before the auction, noted on S&P.

I don't know how this can even happen, but any thoughts on whether this is a problem?

    Thanks and regards

    What's your lawyer say?

Just a thought, many properties have defective titles and 'flats plans' and it doesn't stop the sale. For example, a couple of properties near us that are on X leases have had renovations, extensions etc - with CCC but not had the flats plans updated and then sold on too.

    cheers,

    Donna
