  • cross lease dispute with neighbour - lawyer recomendation

Any good lawyer recommendations regarding a fencing dispute on a crosslease site. I believe both the memorandum of lease and the fencing act has been breached. Location, preferably Auckland Central or Mount Eden.

      interesting

apparently 999 year cross-leases causing so much trouble the law Commission has recommended abolishing them over a 10 year period

guess that smaller places like in story could just split the title into 2

but presumably older multi-story cross-leased apartment buildings would be converted to strata title?

It'd be nice if cross lease titles were replaced with fee simple titles aye with the common use area under a shared title. You'd think this would offer a lot more security, flexibility and reduction in disputes like fencing etc which rarely end well.

        cheers,
