    Hey folks, something Ive just been wondering about lately with all the changes to the world of residential landlording is those industrial tilt slab style developments with a small apartment on the mezzanine.
    Can you still depreciate the entire building and chattels or do you have to split out the commercial elements?
    Are you going to be able to continue claiming interest as an expense or do you need to split the residential and commercial elements of the loan?
    Do you charge GST on the entire unit or only the commercial elements?
    And lastly, is a residential tenancy agreement required for the residential element and do healthy homes standards apply?
