Search for short words?

I believe the correct syntax with search engines is:
<search item><space>site:Propertytalk.com
That said, make use of external search engines in
preference to the awkward and clumsy one that's
part of the PT Forums (vBulletin) software.

living zones
I have experienced great frustration trying to search short phrases also.
Sarah would you consider adding all of the regional council living zones such as L1, L2, L3, L4, L4b etc etc and possibly other zones used in the various district plans?
These would be invaluable for gathering information pertaining to property development.
Another option is for people to force google to search the site for a short word which is what I have been doing - it is time consuming to navigate back and forth between posts and the search results but it does a good job.
example of google search string would be "L4b christchurch" propertytalk.com
cheers

I wonder if that is in the list as
a substitute for P, as in pee lab?
Failing that, I agree it seems
odd. An abbreviation that's
been 'lower-cased' perhaps?
PIE could go into the list, too.
Nothing to do with maggot
packs, more to do with tax
on investments. Maybe add
VAT, while you're at it?

If people get stuck, in general hopefully they could type the whole word in
i.e GST - goods and services tax.
I understand this will not always work but is a good start if an acronym is not in there!!
