Adding a pic

The gallery has been closed for maintenance since March. Is there anyway to add a pic to a post without it being on a web site. IE if it is sitting on my hard drive can I embed it in a post??

Don't think so - easiest way is to upload it to your own site and link to it from there.

I haven't yet found a way. But you don't need your own site, you can simply use flickr or some other free online hosting service to host your pictures.

So, having set up a flickr account and uploaded a photo to it, how do I make it appear in PT?

Just get the URL of the photo when you use the 'Insert Image' link. (Right-click on the photo properties to get the photo maybe....)
