Hi all
I have a unit that i am going to sell. The block is mostly tenanted.
Its currently tenanted for the next few months. Its in a need or a full renovation. Paint, carpet, Bathroom, Kitchen
What would everyone suggest?
1)Wait until the tenancy ends, do it up (15-20k) and then put it on the market? This way i would lose rent while its up for sale.
2)Let the tenant go onto a period tenancy and then put it up for sale with them still renting?
3)Fix the tenant and then sell it with the fixed term tenancy?
Im not sure if the renovation will be worth the time and money, i will need to get an agent through.
When is the best time to take an agent through as i dont want the tenants to leave?
Thanks
