For a quick turnaround, no. For the longer term, certainly. There will be some more market volatility to come of course with the election and so on, but if you have a 2 year+ hold in mind, then yes, a good time to buy.

I dont disagree and of course having a 2+ year plan is sensible. I was commenting on location specific as market conditions and the strong rental market here in Dundee makes this a great time for purchase. I have built several portfolios for investors here and now is the best time I have seen.

When you buy, have your financing all arranged before you make an offer on a property. When selling, don't attempt to sell to any buyer who doesn't have the money to pay for the property.
