Hey guys :
I'm just wondering if you guys can help me out here.
Long story short my tenant damaged the floorboard on the laundry area and toilet area ( they washed their clothes in the laundry sink and didn't bother drying the water from the floor )
So I got a quote from my builder and gave it to my PM and she also got a quote from her own builder ( which a lot more $$ than my quote )
My PM already told me to go ahead with the repair and she gave me the tenant phone number which I passed it on to my builder. Now my builder just texted saying that the tenant does not want him to do the work so I'm assuming that they will find someone do it ?
I'm really not comfortable letting them choose their own builder since I don't want the repair end up looking like crap.
So what is my right here ? Can I tell them I want to use my own builder ?
Thanks guys !
