Buying Home in Auckland - good time? 20%?

Thanks for the heads up. I like the potential it has but Im not a big fan of south Auckland, Would prefer central or north shore or maybe Te Atatu if i had to go out west.

Central auckland would be difficult to get a house, maybe Avondale or Mt Wellington, crossleased 3 beddy.

Units, there will be lots of options.

It's not south Auckland, it's east, Pakuranga, Manukau.
Good suburb to be in.

Not liking a Pylon is different story..

This is not classed as south auckland, more east. The area has a lot going for it and that price is pretty reasonable if you can get over the power lines.

Yep not bad money but being on that main rd is a complete nightmare. OK for rentals but you wouldn't want to live there.

Not for everyone, but as an Auckland stepping stone a reasonable price and quite a decent secondary income possible from the downstairs that would be hard to beat IMO.

10th share of 3300m2, basically 10 standalone town houses in the complex. I own one of them, and I love the environment there.

Laundry with a hob abd rangehood - love it.

Kitchen with the washing machine. It would look a lot better with a side load built in, but it's very typical in Europe & apartments, and not the worse way to do it. In my H&I's I put it in the bathroom.
